Real Club NĂ¡utico de Palma
This is the oldest, most prestigious marina on the Balearics. A meeting place for the jet set and the famous, it is close to the city centre and only ten minutes from the international airport.
Facilities
A complete package of high-level facilities, including personal showers at each berth.
All maintenance and repair facilities for yachts up to 50 metric tons, its own sail maker's and ship's carpenter.
A marine swimming pool, outdoor bar and first-class restaurant.
Boat delivery service from the large shopping centre.
Pier 46
Pier 46 is the newest of the facilities now available within the Port of Palma and offers 28 moorings for yachts ranging from 12 to 50 metres. All berths at the old quay site offer telephone, water, electricity and a marinero service.

This is also a magnificent, alternating and safe sailing area. There are bays, beaches and anchorage places in abundance. Palma is the starting point for such famous regattas as the King's Cup Yacht Race (Copa del Rey de Vela) and the Princess Sofia Trophy.
There are 12 golf courses on Mallorca, 10 of which are eighteen-hole and two, nine-hole courses. The Balearics Open is a regular event, a competition for world class professionals. In Spring, Pula Golf holds exhibition tournaments featuring some of the leading players on the European circuit.
Harness or sulky horseracing is a well-established sport on Mallorca. Races are held every weekend at the Palma and Manacor racecourse, and draw horse lovers as well as punters eager to try their luck.
Hotels and other accommodation
Mallorca has over one thousand hotels, including 5- and 4-star luxury hotels and very comfortable 3- and 2-star hotels. The hotels are mostly situated in the capital and the seaside towns and villages. Another form of lodging is available in the islands' interior: country and estate cottages where the visitor can be in direct contact with the countryside in a family environment.
Access
Palma's Son Sant Joan airport lies 8 km from the capital and has links with all main European destinations. There are daily scheduled flights to Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Alicante, as well as to other cities around Spain.
